Will this void my warranty?
Absolutely not. Our tuning chip will not void any warranties. If you have a very strict underwriter on your warranty you can simply unplug the unit before taking your vehicle in for service with no traces and install it later.
Will this work with aftermarket performance upgrades?
Yes, It will work with all aftermarket upgrades as well as factory upgrades.
Will I get any errors on my dash board after installing this tuning chip?
Our tuning chip will not cause any dashboard errors or warnings.
Do I need any special skills or tools?
No special skills are required. Just plug into your OBD2 port and follow simple instructions included.
Will this module fit my 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl?
The Thorton Performance Chip will fit all engine sizes and types for your make of vehicle. Be sure to select the correct Make, model and engine of your vehicle when purchasing.

O7 Durango I purchased 4 days before Thanksgiving with 141500 miles. This truck is 4 wheel drive noted for being a gas hog it was hiway 15 mpg. Well I’m getting that around In town and I live in the middle of any town for major shopping it’s 20 miles in all directions. I put the stag 3 on my hemi and it was noticeable in 10 miles and now 2 weeks later I’m getting darn better mileage and hang on this one impressed me. I’m 68 years old and I have had some experience with muscle cars .I still have a need to let it rip .You won’t be sorry I know that I will be getting around 19 mpg when I go on vacation.

Im a retire auto tech, and words can’t say enough about this chip! I’ve had mine for nearly a month now…ENORMOUS change in vehicle performance! Acceleration is ridiculous, and fuel milage….let’s say I notice nearly 5-6 mpg increase (17.2 before, 22.5-23.8). However, I did notice the using premium grade fuel makes a huge difference also. Among other things, throttle response is crisp and snappy! To get unbiased feedback, I let my wife drive it after the upgrade, and she said,”what did you do babe. I bearly touched the gas and it flies.” Furthermore, regardless of how I’m driving it seems like the tranny shifts either aggressive or with a mild kick at 20% throttle, but when I need it, the power is there! I love this simple plug n play option, and for anyone looking to boost performance without breaking the bank, BUY THIS CHIP! I purchased the Stage 3 chip, and to this day I have ZERO regrets..
