Will this void my warranty?
Absolutely not. Our tuning chip will not void any warranties. If you have a very strict underwriter on your warranty you can simply unplug the unit before taking your vehicle in for service with no traces and install it later.
Will this work with aftermarket performance upgrades?
Yes, It will work with all aftermarket upgrades as well as factory upgrades.
Will I get any errors on my dash board after installing this tuning chip?
Our tuning chip will not cause any dashboard errors or warnings.
Do I need any special skills or tools?
No special skills are required. Just plug into your OBD2 port and follow simple instructions included.
Will this module fit my 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl?
The Thorton Performance Chip will fit all engine sizes and types for your make of vehicle. Be sure to select the correct Make, model and engine of your vehicle when purchasing.

I would like to tell you what I think about you CHIP what it has done to my truck. First off you should know That THAT DAMN CHIP is the best thing I have ever bought for truck. I am so, so excited about about having installing it. It’s only been a month and the changes at it has done is unbelievable. Its has done everything you said it would and more. I drive a 1999 f250 super duty wit a 6.8 v10 motor. I was getting (maybe) 10 miles to the gallon on a good day and really thought the motor was weak and had no power. But now it is like I put a new motor in. The power and speed I now have not to mention how much better the gas mileage. I can’t believe that chip has changed my truck so much. i want to say thank you for having such a great product I am going to (and I have been) telling everyone about your CHIP. Okay! I give you guys 5 stars ⭐️!! I use it on my 2021 Explorer ST! It was quick and easy. Just plug and play! I felt the difference in the performance immediately and would recommend to anyone! My gF drives a Porsche Panamera and she said it’s just as powerful as her car! LOVE IT!
I just want to say thank you for your product. I had results right away from my 2024 Ford Maverick. I wanted to give you some positive feedback. I know there’s a lot of negative out there but anyways it worked great for me. Thank you very much. Let me know where I can post a review, I did want to know if it gonna get any better. I’ve only put on 30 miles but I noticed the difference the first 5 miles.
I bought a stage 3 chip for my 2002 F-150 Super Crew 4×4 Lariat. I noticed a big difference with pretty much everything other than doing a MPG test. I also borrowed a Stage 3 Rocket Chip from a friend who also has a 2001 F-150. I’m not very impressed with Rocket Chip. There was a power difference but it wasn’t instant and smooth. On hard acceleration it actually stumbled before it took off. It didn’t seem to have near the smooth power with the Rocket Chip. The Thorton chip is way better.
I installed the Stage II chip on my 2018 Fusion 1.5 Ecoboost. After about 100 miles I noticed increased horsepower & torque, better throttle response, smoother idle & 2-3 MPG gas mileage gains. Also in Sport mode it sounds more aggressive from the intake & exhaust. Best $60 I’ve spent so far on my car 5*. Highly recommend Thornton Chip Tuning. Thanks again!
