Will this void my warranty?
Absolutely not. Our tuning chip will not void any warranties. If you have a very strict underwriter on your warranty you can simply unplug the unit before taking your vehicle in for service with no traces and install it later.
Will this work with aftermarket performance upgrades?
Yes, It will work with all aftermarket upgrades as well as factory upgrades.
Will I get any errors on my dash board after installing this tuning chip?
Our tuning chip will not cause any dashboard errors or warnings.
Do I need any special skills or tools?
No special skills are required. Just plug into your OBD2 port and follow simple instructions included.
Will this module fit my 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl?
The Thorton Performance Chip will fit all engine sizes and types for your make of vehicle. Be sure to select the correct Make, model and engine of your vehicle when purchasing.
I got the stage 3 for my 2020 5.0 F150 from you in April. I can’t say enough good things about this Chip. Everything you said I could expect I am getting of of my Truck. I am so glad I purchased the Level 3 Performance Chip. It demonstrated to me that even a 2013 Ford Explorer XLT 3.5L V-6 can experience an increase in performance. The 60hp performance increase was noticed immediately after plugging in the level 3 chip. It appears to have bumped up my V-6’s stock 290hp engine to 350hp as promised. This onservqtion made a very noticeable performance increase on uphill acceleration ramps merging onto the interstate, passing annoying slow pokes on the highway that drive 40mph in a 65mph zone
2024 Ford Mustang ECO. After cold air intake was installed. I put the chip in. Let it learn my car for a couple days. What a difference man way smoother idle little snappy response but a flatter boost a little bit was good resonator delete and exhaust next then I’ll push the reset button and she’ll relearn my new system. Easy to install like change better than stock
I’ve been A Manager in The Car Business for 30 years. For over 20 years A Demo was part of my Package so I’ve driven just about everything. A little over 3 years ago I bought my 2020 Ford Explorer with the Ecoboost 4cylinder and I used to like it a lot but since getting my Stage 3 Chip and The Explorer is Reprogrammed I Freaking Love It! I love putting it in Sport Mode and it’ll Surprise The Hell out of You!! Also just wrapped up a 392 Mile Trip and got 24.8MPG and believe Me I Didn’t Baby It and was in Sport Mode 90% of the Time. If Develop a Chip With 80 or 100 additional HP I’m Game
