Will this void my warranty?
Absolutely not. Our tuning chip will not void any warranties. If you have a very strict underwriter on your warranty you can simply unplug the unit before taking your vehicle in for service with no traces and install it later.
Will this work with aftermarket performance upgrades?
Yes, It will work with all aftermarket upgrades as well as factory upgrades.
Will I get any errors on my dash board after installing this tuning chip?
Our tuning chip will not cause any dashboard errors or warnings.
Do I need any special skills or tools?
No special skills are required. Just plug into your OBD2 port and follow simple instructions included.
Will this module fit my 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl?
The Thorton Performance Chip will fit all engine sizes and types for your make of vehicle. Be sure to select the correct Make, model and engine of your vehicle when purchasing.

I saw my gas mileage go up by two or 3 miles average just in the first day.
Don’t pay for expedited shipping as it’ll still be late and you’ll waste your money. Stick to the standard shipping.

I just returned from a trip in the Smoky mountains of Tennessee in my 2013 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X.
Before the Nissan Performance Chip I would get 14-15 mpg.
The same trip with the Nissan Performance Chip I got just over 18 mpg. Wow!
Also, from day one, the the performance increase has been very impressive.
I plan on getting a Nissan Performance Chip for each of my two kids. They both drive Nissan Frontiers.

Original owner of a 2015 NISSAN Frontier SV King Cab 4 cylinder, automatic, 68500 miles. Previous mpgs with Amsoil 5w\30 were;
BEFORE:
city = constant 15-16.5
highway= 18.5-20 (auto cruise)
AFTER:
city= constant 17-19.5
highway= 22-25.99 (auto pilot)
I noticed after approximately 150-200 miles the algorithms took a set and my personal test with my complete driving senses revealed performance enhancements in stronger shifting, a throatier exhaust (stock) and substantial torque for a twin overhead cam engine.
My final test will be when I tow my 2016 -20 foot LANCE Travel trailer when weather is in my favor. I know my stats on the trailer from previous trips so this will be a journey of various surprises.
Also, I use top tier gasoline MOBIL PREMIUM 97 octane or other top tier if Mobil is not available. The reasoning is that before I retired from California State Emissions Test and Repair Bureau as a Blue Shield/ Gold Shield station specialist I was privy to important data from customers cars who would not pass the California smog test. That being said, I test vehicles on the dynamometer for exhaust values for pollution standards. I noticed through the years that many vehicle owners opted for the cheapest grade and/or price of gasoline. When you see the early on set of premature carbon in small orifices that set engine codes you see why a higher detergency is long term investment.
