Will this void my warranty?
Absolutely not. Our tuning chip will not void any warranties. If you have a very strict underwriter on your warranty you can simply unplug the unit before taking your vehicle in for service with no traces and install it later.
Will this work with aftermarket performance upgrades?
Yes, It will work with all aftermarket upgrades as well as factory upgrades.
Will I get any errors on my dash board after installing this tuning chip?
Our tuning chip will not cause any dashboard errors or warnings.
Do I need any special skills or tools?
No special skills are required. Just plug into your OBD2 port and follow simple instructions included.
Will this module fit my 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl?
The Thorton Performance Chip will fit all engine sizes and types for your make of vehicle. Be sure to select the correct Make, model and engine of your vehicle when purchasing.
Just received my Stage 3 in for my stock 2019 CTS with 14 2.0 turbo. Install extremely easy. Already noticed a difference in shift Tour/Sport, very smooth no issues. Boost does not tap out half throttle and throttle response is quicker and smoother. Ready to put some miles on and open up for better gas and hp which I can already tell a difference. In conjunction with this chip run good fuel and maintain a good maintenance record. Very pleased and yes if Stage 4 comes out I would be interested. 5 Stars handsdown. Women know cars too!
5 star just received mine for my 04 escalade 6 liter have headers flow master and kand n filter with the chip drove the shit outta her for a few hours way better shift points before off the light to the pin revved out to 6000 lossing accelleraton near it now shifts at 5500 before it peaks out and noticed fuel mileage way better considering beat the hell out of it. I’m very impressed thank you Thornton
Hi I wanted to write a review for the Stage 3 Thorton Chip. I had researched chips and read that just adding a chip could not give you the positive results advertised. Wrong! My 2013 Cadillac ATS 2.0T has come alive to the point I look forward everyday to drive it. Pedal response definitely way better and it pulls hard I can not believe the power difference when I put it to the floor. Great product, price and customer support! Thank you will buy one for every vehicle I own!

I bought the level 2 after thinking about it for a year or more. I have a 2013 ATS4 with the 2.0 leter engine. Had a few issues when new so was skeptical about doing anything with it. After about 200 miles or so, I really noticed the difference! Acceleration out of a turn, merging etc. are no issues. I almost forgot what the turbo interjection feels like. Must admit very pleasantry surprised. Thank you for a product that does what it says! ✌🏿
I put a stage one chip in my 2002. Cadillac Deville DHS. And straight pipes exhaust Three inch Reduce down to Two and a half inch Duels coming out the back into 2 and a 1/2 by 10 exhaustive. Best sounding Cadillac you’ve ever heard. Thanks for all the help.
