Will this void my warranty?
Absolutely not. Our tuning chip will not void any warranties. If you have a very strict underwriter on your warranty you can simply unplug the unit before taking your vehicle in for service with no traces and install it later.
Will this work with aftermarket performance upgrades?
Yes, It will work with all aftermarket upgrades as well as factory upgrades.
Will I get any errors on my dash board after installing this tuning chip?
Our tuning chip will not cause any dashboard errors or warnings.
Do I need any special skills or tools?
No special skills are required. Just plug into your OBD2 port and follow simple instructions included.
Will this module fit my 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl?
The Thorton Performance Chip will fit all engine sizes and types for your make of vehicle. Be sure to select the correct Make, model and engine of your vehicle when purchasing.
Hi I wanted to write a review for the Stage 3 Thorton Chip. I had researched chips and read that just adding a chip could not give you the positive results advertised. Wrong! My 2013 Cadillac ATS 2.0T has come alive to the point I look forward everyday to drive it. Pedal response definitely way better and it pulls hard I can not believe the power difference when I put it to the floor. Great product, price and customer support! Thank you will buy one for every vehicle I own!

I bought the level 2 after thinking about it for a year or more. I have a 2013 ATS4 with the 2.0 leter engine. Had a few issues when new so was skeptical about doing anything with it. After about 200 miles or so, I really noticed the difference! Acceleration out of a turn, merging etc. are no issues. I almost forgot what the turbo interjection feels like. Must admit very pleasantry surprised. Thank you for a product that does what it says! ✌🏿
I put a stage one chip in my 2002. Cadillac Deville DHS. And straight pipes exhaust Three inch Reduce down to Two and a half inch Duels coming out the back into 2 and a 1/2 by 10 exhaustive. Best sounding Cadillac you’ve ever heard. Thanks for all the help.
I decided to try the stage 3 chip in my 05 Cadillac STS 4.6 V8 and it surprised me. This is the first time I’ve ever put a chip in a vehicle,so I was skeptical but it made a hell of a difference. it defiantly made a good noticeable horsepower and milage increase. the shift points are also better. I had just put a cold air intake on the car also and after adding the stage 3 chip,it is like driving a different car. it sounds awesome and will set you back in the seat when you stomp it. I can’t seem to keep my foot off the floorboard now.lol……. This chip was so good that I ordered another one lastnight for my 07 Jeep Grand CherokeeLimited with the Hemi. I also ordered a k&n cold air intake for it. I can’t wait to add the chip and intake. These chips are great and I would recommend them to anyone wanting more power, torque and better gas milage.
I purchased the stage 3 for my 3.6L, along with a k&n cold air intake and 2.25 exhaust tubing from the cats back to the tail mufflers and a magnaflo duel in/duel out muffler. I left on the the stock tail pipe mufflers. Wow!! What a difference! It punches like a V8 and a noticeable gain in gas mileage,even though I was cruising between 90 and 100mph! The car is giving me 2nd gear scratches when it shfts! It’s all that and a bag of chips!!!
