Will this void my warranty?
Absolutely not. Our tuning chip will not void any warranties. If you have a very strict underwriter on your warranty you can simply unplug the unit before taking your vehicle in for service with no traces and install it later.
Will this work with aftermarket performance upgrades?
Yes, It will work with all aftermarket upgrades as well as factory upgrades.
Will I get any errors on my dash board after installing this tuning chip?
Our tuning chip will not cause any dashboard errors or warnings.
Do I need any special skills or tools?
No special skills are required. Just plug into your OBD2 port and follow simple instructions included.
Will this module fit my 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl?
The Thorton Performance Chip will fit all engine sizes and types for your make of vehicle. Be sure to select the correct Make, model and engine of your vehicle when purchasing.
I recently purchased a chip for my 2020 Silverado 5.3 RST Crew 4×4 8sp trans. It’s still learning according to the information. I went on a trip of 358 miles one way via highway. Cruise set at 66mph. On the way there I was against a head wind and averaged 25mpg. On the way back I there was a variable light cross wind and averaged 27.6mph. My rpms roughly 1400. Incredible results with a picture for proof. I just ordered a chip for my 2026 Ram 2500 Cummins. Highly recommend this chip!

Just installed mine. Bought the level 3 for my 2006 HHR. Did a cleaning of the gdi cylinder intake and fuel system cleaner, fresh oil change and drove it for a spell. Idle smoothed out. Smoother acceleration. Expecting good things in the coming week or two. Worth a hundred bucks so far, I’d say.👍
