Will this void my warranty?
Absolutely not. Our tuning chip will not void any warranties. If you have a very strict underwriter on your warranty you can simply unplug the unit before taking your vehicle in for service with no traces and install it later.
Will this work with aftermarket performance upgrades?
Yes, It will work with all aftermarket upgrades as well as factory upgrades.
Will I get any errors on my dash board after installing this tuning chip?
Our tuning chip will not cause any dashboard errors or warnings.
Do I need any special skills or tools?
No special skills are required. Just plug into your OBD2 port and follow simple instructions included.
Will this module fit my 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl?
The Thorton Performance Chip will fit all engine sizes and types for your make of vehicle. Be sure to select the correct Make, model and engine of your vehicle when purchasing.
I want to leave a positive review. Over the past year and a half, I have purchase three Stage 3 chips for my Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Boxster S and Toyota Camry. I can tell a DEFINITE increase in horsepower in all three vehicles, especially the 4-banger Camry, it runs like it’s a 6-cylinder! I’ve also noticed an increase in gas mileage, when I drive them normally (LOL). Thank you Thorton Chip Tuning for putting out such fantastic products. I just got my stage 3 for my 21 Toyota Camry, it feels like I’ve got a V6 model now. Throttle response and overall pick up really improved. Satisfied customer. Just need a refund for my shipping.
Added the Stage 3 chip to my 2019 Tundra 5.7 in additon to an Injen CAI, Injen Black Edition Pedal Pro, Shortened Dual Exhaust with two Flowmaster FX 3″ mufflers. The Stage 3 chip is exactly what I needed to pull the max power from these mods. Now my Tundra will run with a Raptor in the first three gears no problem. The power curve is insane, it leave the line hard and pulls all the way to redline strong and rolling it on at freeway cruising speeds surprises cars and trucks all day. Just gotta add some headers and who knows what its gonna do. Never had it dyno’d but my ass dyno says 450+hp easy. Thats the only dyno that really matters anyways. Everyone that has been in it is impressed with the improvement. And when you open up a toyota v8 with the right exhaust it sounds nasty in a good way, like no other truck on the road
I just started tracking my mileage by the trip, but before your tuning chip, I was averaging 19.2 total on a ’24 4-cylinder. Now it’s at 22.4, but it’s the first reset. Regardless, I’m happy and fully endorse. FIVE STARS!! 😍😍😍
