Hi I recently purchased a stage 3 chip for my Passat 1.8 t, from your company, and the truth is a am extremely happy, the chip brought the car alive, I inverted the chip, and followed the instructions. Installing is very easy. I’ve got a Vw Tiguan 2018 4wd. The engine was quite lazy. As soon has i put the plug in, i notice a significant gain. As the day goes by… the engine was delivering more power, as they say. Now the engine is nervous and responsive. The best 99$ that i invested since a long time.
I now have had 4 of these. Most recent was my 2018 Ram 1500 5.7L hemi. other cars were/are 2022 toyota camry 2.0L, 2018 chrysler 300 v6 awd, chrysler 200 v6 fwd. All i can say is even my teens can not drive rhe truck around my farm without it. the dead spot on the pedal is gone. So makes backing up to trailers and things easier because before thorton chip was put on you would push the pedal and nothing and when it did finally get signal to the truck that your giving it the gas it would be a high rate causing it to goose or over throttle. that would almost cause you to hit a trailer when backing up and being within 3 ft of the hitch. Mpg on all cars went up between 1-3 mpg. All are faster and easier to drive. My hemi wakes up to beast mode. Turn off traction control and I can get sideways anywhere anytime!!!! The chrysler 300 awd in the snow with t/c off is litterally terrifying!!! It will 0-60 in 5-6 sec in 3 ” of snow. About as fast as on payment. and btw will gap a rwd hemi version of the car all day long. Also ours got 32 mpg on the highway which is insane. I love these. About to get one for a newly accired 13 VW jetta tdi. should be a insane increase if like the others!!!! thanks thorton!!!
I have a VOLKSWAGEN Jetta 2.0 (non turbo) and after a few days of driving i have noticed a slight difference in acceleration, not so much power. I recently changed the injectors and switched to a K&N filter and this chip make the throttle way more responsive. You will also feel a big difference on the freeway, it feels like a new car and notice i don’t have to slam on the pedal to pass other cars. So if you have the same model jetta, i highly recommend getting this chip and switching to a K&N filter, you’ll thank me later.
Bought this for my “12 jetta TDI and jesus man.. I have no words other than damn. i mean im running 290HP and 356 pounds of torque. I absolutely love these.
